2015 MISA’S ‘WOMEN TO WATCH’: Nominate HOYCE TEMU, Vote TANZANIA

She also has her own talk show, Mimi na Tanzania (Me and Tanzania), which focuses on CSRs, fundraising, and supporting women and children through the promotion of human rights, gender equality, and access to healthcare and education.

International Women’s Day just around the corner, MISA’s is looking to choose 2015 Women to Watch. So, who better to ask for nominations then motivated, inspirational women such as Hoyce Temu, I hope you will agree with me.
You can nominate as many women as you like, from any of the 11 SADC countries in which MISA operates, that’s: Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

MISA’s is interested in showcasing women across a range of fields whose work / interests and passions touch on the issues of free expression and access to information. Some examples might include:
-Artists and performers who use their art to advocate for human rights / speak out against injustice etc.
-Civil society representatives
-Journalists, reporters, presenters who stand out in their field (GOR FOR THIS ONE AND PLEASE NOMINATE HOYCE TEMU)
-Women in fields or roles traditionally male dominated such as camera operators, news anchors, sound technicians etc.
-Human rights lawyers
-Citizen journalists
-Women in ICT, creating new platforms for expression, improving access to ICT etc.
-Children / youth who are ‘rising stars’ in the media or human rights fields
